Although Russia states its desire for dialogue and cooperation with other countries, the reference to “unfriendly countries” and the recognition of China and India as Russia’s “strategic partners” can be interpreted as an attempt to strengthen the policy of distance from Western countries and increasing its influence in the Asian region.
